I use Held leather saddle bags, but have saddle bag supports only since
a few weeks. Used them before without the supports and never had a problem.
They didn't interfere with the tires in any way.
The supports I now have are made by a company called "Fehling", didn't have
to change anything like bolts or turn signals. I don't know though if
Fehling supports can be had over at your place.
